Ingredients

  • 2 cups cooked rice
  • 4 large eggs
  • 2 tablespoons soy sauce
  • 1 tablespoon sesame oil
  • 1 tablespoon vegetable oil
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Chopped green onions (optional)
  • Sesame seeds (optional)

Instructions

  1. Prepare the rice by breaking apart any clumps if using cold, leftover rice.
  2. Scramble the eggs in a non-stick skillet with vegetable oil over medium heat until soft.
  3. Warm the cooked rice in the same skillet, adding soy sauce and sesame oil; stir well.
  4. Combine the scrambled eggs back into the rice until just mixed.
  5. Serve hot, garnished with green onions and sesame seeds if desired.

Notes

For best results, use day-old rice for better texture and avoid overcooking the eggs.
