Ingredients

  • 1 lb grilled steak (sirloin or flank is best)
  • 2 cups mixed vegetables (bell peppers, zucchini, broccoli)
  • 2 tablespoons soy sauce
  • 1 tablespoon sesame oil
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon ginger powder
  • 4 cups cooked rice or quinoa
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Green onions for garnish

Instructions

  1. Prepare the rice or quinoa according to package instructions. Set aside.
  2. Heat the skillet over medium-high heat and add sesame oil.
  3. Add the mixed vegetables to the skillet and stir-fry for 3-5 minutes until tender but still crisp.
  4. Slice the grilled steak into strips and add to the skillet once the vegetables are ready.
  5. Pour in soy sauce, garlic powder, ginger powder, salt, and pepper, mixing well and cooking until heated through (about 2-3 minutes).
  6. Serve by placing a scoop of rice or quinoa in a bowl and topping with the steak and vegetable mixture. Garnish with chopped green onions before serving.

Notes

Choose high-quality steak for the best flavor and don’t overcook the vegetables; they should be tender yet colorful and crisp.
