  • 2 tablespoons gochujang (Korean red chili paste)
  • 1 tablespoon gochugaru (Korean red chili flakes)
  • 2 tablespoons soy sauce
  • 1 tablespoon honey or sugar
  • 2 tablespoons sesame oil
  • 1 onion, sliced
  • 1 carrot, julienned
  • 3 cloves garlic, minced

Instructions

  1. Prepare the Marinade: In a bowl, mix together gochujang, gochugaru, soy sauce, honey, and sesame oil.

  4. Add Vegetables: Toss in the sliced onion and julienned carrot, stir-frying for another 3-5 minutes until the vegetables are tender but still crisp.
  5. Finish with Garlic: Stir in the minced garlic, cooking for an additional minute until fragrant.
  6. Serve and Garnish: Serve the Jeyuk Bokkeum hot, garnished with chopped green onions and sesame seeds.
