Ingredients
250 g Magerquark (low-fat quark) or Magertopfen
120 g Gouda light (light Gouda cheese)
3 M-sized eggs
A pinch of salt and pepper
300 g Rinderhackfleisch (lean ground beef)
1/2 onion, chopped
3 slices of Schmelzkäse light (light processed cheese)
4 pickles (saure Gurken or Essiggurkerl), sliced
2 handfuls of shredded iceberg lettuce
1 tomato, sliced
A pinch of salt and pepper
1 tsp rapeseed oil
2 tbsp low-fat mayonnaise
1 tbsp sour cream
2 tbsp ketchup
1 tsp mustard
1/2 tsp white wine vinegar
Instructions
In a mixing bowl, combine the eggs, Magerquark, and Gouda cheese. Stir until smooth, then season with a pinch of salt and pepper.
Spread the mixture evenly on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper. Bake in a preheated oven at 180°C for about 20 minutes, or until the top is slightly golden.
In a skillet, heat the rapeseed oil over medium heat. Add the chopped onion and lean ground beef, cooking until the beef is browned. Season with salt and pepper to taste.
While the filling cooks, slice the pickles and tomato, and prepare the shredded lettuce.
In a separate bowl, combine the mayonnaise, sour cream, ketchup, mustard, white wine vinegar, and season to taste with salt and pepper.
Once the base is ready and cooled slightly, remove it from the baking sheet and peel off the parchment paper. Spread a portion of the sauce over the base.
Distribute the cooked ground beef mixture on one-third of the base, followed by the light cheese, sliced pickles, tomato, and shredded lettuce.
Carefully roll the base tightly to create a log shape. Slice into two pieces for serving and enjoy your delicious roll!
