A spooky twist on a classic snack, Mummy Pigs in a Blanket are perfect for Halloween gatherings or any festive occasion. They’re easy to make and fun to eat!

Ingredients

  • 12 hot dogs (classic or turkey)
  • 1 can (8 oz) crescent roll dough
  • Candy googly eyes (for decoration)

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven according to the instructions on the crescent roll dough package, usually around 375°F (190°C).
  2. Prepare the dough: Open the can of crescent roll dough, unroll it, and separate it into triangles. Cut each triangle into long strips.
  3. Wrap one hot dog with the dough strips, leaving a small space at the top for the eyes.
  4. Arrange the wrapped hot dogs on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper, ensuring they are spaced apart for even cooking.
  5. Bake for 12-15 minutes, or until the crescent dough is golden brown.
  6. Add candy googly eyes on the exposed part of the hot dog before serving.

Notes

Use cold dough for easier handling and check for doneness by looking for a golden color.
